Launching a new channel is always a formidable task, particularly with a world-renowned brand image to live up to, but the Cosmo team hit a home run. With a highly collaborative effort from marketing, sales, finance, operations, programming, OAP, content distribution, traffic, communications and regulatory, the team worked to "get" the Cosmo brand and to get it on air within a short timeline and do it in addition to their existing responsibilities on other specialty channels.
Less than eight months since its launch, the channel is in almost five million homes, is ranked among the top four digital specialty channels for Women 18-34 and is delivering strong ad revenue to the division.
Meline is has been asked to contribute a short story to Sextrology, a Ravenous Romance Anthology edited by Sèphera Giron. The erotic almanac is due out in January 2009!
Oh So Cosmo is doing so well, Meline has been hired to develop a new magazine show for the W Network. The yet to be named weekly show will take the best of what W Network currently offers its viewers and deliver it via one fabulous host and a few experts you’ll wonder how you ever lived without!
The show will explore the broadest scope of traditional women's interests, including home and garden, beauty and style, shopping and money, food and nutrition, health and wellness as well as personal improvement.
Meline’s photography has been picked up by Los Angeles based stock agency StockShop. Founded in 2005 as an alternative to the behemoths that have taken over the stock photography business, StockShop offers hand-picked images from emerging and recognized talents with a diversity of viewpoints.

In CBC 's Toronto studio, six teams will be pitted against each other and against a group of celebrities. Questions about the English language will be shown on big screens in the studio, and answers will be recorded on hand-held devices attached to processing software. At the end of the evening the results will be collated.
The CBC has asked Toronto Romance Writers to get a team together and Meline is on the team!
